Bristol Motor Speedway
Race Summary:
After several years in the making, NASCAR's bulkier, racier Car of Tomorrow finally made its debut, rolling into slam-bang Bristol Motor Speedway, a.k.a. Thunder Valley, USA. The early stages belonged to the usual Bristol suspects, including previous track champs Dale Earnhardt Junior, Kurt Busch, and Kevin Harvick. As the laps wound down, a two-car shootout was materializing between the Chevys of youngster Kyle Busch and veteran Jeff Burton. Once again, a late yellow flag set up a late green-white-checkered dash to the finish. Burton could have spun Busch on the final lap, but instead took the high road and the pair battled to the finish line with Busch winning by .533 seconds.
