Race Summary:

On a day when all eyes were on eventual Chase Champion Jimmie Johnson, Matt Kenseth put on a dominating performance to win the Ford 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway.  Kenseth controlled the action much of the way in his Roush Ford Fusion, leading for 217 out of 264 laps. Following a late-race yellow flag and ensuing restart, Kenseth held off a final charge by Kurt Busch and pulled away to take the checkered flag.   Busch finished second, followed by Denny Hamlin (3^rd), Jeff Gordon (4^th) and Carl Edwards (5^th).  Kenseth’s victory, coming on the heels of four straight top five finishes, landed him fourth overall in the final Chase standings.
