Nextel All-Star Challenge
05.19.2007
Lowe's Motor Speedway
Race Summary:
When the NASCAR All-Star race made its debut in 1985, more than few people wondered if it would work. Two years later, when Dale Earnhardt beat Bill Elliott with his "Pass in the Grass" in '87, everyone became believers. But it was 1992 when the event really took, when Lowe's Motor Speedway turned on the lights for "One Hot Night". When Matt Kenseth won two of the first three segments, it looked like it would be his night. But the fourth and final segment was anyone's game, and came down to a battle between Mark Martin, Jimmie Johnson, and Harvick. In the end, Harvick took home the win, the trophy, and a cool one million bucks. This Bonus Race is packaged in a Slim Plastic DVD Case.
Drivers:
Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jimmie Johnson, Kevin Harvick, Kurt Busch, Matt Kenseth, Tony Stewart
