All summer long, Tony Stewart's rivals waited for the inevitable - his annual late summer push to the top of the points standings. The only question seemed to be when it would begin. The answer to that question was the USG Sheetrock 400 at the Chicagoland Speedway. Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Gordon, Kevin Harvick, and Matt Kenseth all had their moments at the front, but on the final restart with 12 laps to go, Smoke proceeded to smoke the field and take his second career Windy City win.
